“Cyclist, Rue du Montparnasse”, Jeremyville by Idem
Wherever he travels, Jeremyville captures the energy of a place into his sketchbook, while sitting at local cafes, just observing.
He brought his sketchbook to Paris this Summer, for his ongoing “Streets of Jeremyville” series. While sitting at Crêperie Plougastel, on the outdoor corner table where David Lynch usually sits, directly outside IDEM, Jeremyville saw a female cyclist on Rue du Montparnasse, perhaps with a bunny companion, and captured her spirit.
After a delicious crêpe lunch, he started working directly onto the stone at IDEM, to create this print, in just one day, from idea to final output.
So here is “Cyclist, Rue du Montparnasse” from his “Streets of Jeremyville” Paris series.
